Skye and Ross met Gaël Brissiaud from Murano Urban Resort while staying in Paris recently. Gaël used his experience and flair to create the perfect cocktail for the new album Blood Like Lemonade

Morcheeba hope to have the drink on offer at select shows this year. So look out for it at the venues, try it at home, or ask your favourite bartender to create one for you … either way, the band hope you’ll love it as much as they do.

As Gaël said, “a lot of classic cocktails have been made before, like the “Macca” for Paul McCartney, so maybe one day this drink will be a classic too”. Thank you Gaël!

In a tumbler glass full of ice put:

30ml of raspberry puree
30ml of blood Orange juice
10ml of elderflower syrup
40ml of vodka (wyborowa)
Stir with a spoon or shaker
Top with traditional lemonade
Finish with 3 straws and a fresh raspberry for decoration

Voila!
